Type this in a terminal window, to install the Win XP theme:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install win-xp-theme
Then install the Win XP icons:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install win-icons
